They ended up releasing the 2021 option regardless of the drivability issues. It sounds like they were trying to heavily rely on previous year ots tunes instead of creating new tunes. The "specialist" acknowledged the issues and admitted Ford made changes to the 2021 year. They had me datalog my results and sent me a revision which made minor differences. After they were finished they gave me the beta version of the stage 2 map for the 2021 year. Heck, Cobb even used my vehicle in Austin for their implementation testing of the 2021 model year. On the base model, the SCT ots tune comes out on top, followed by the Livernois ots tune, followed lastly by the Cobb ots tunes. I have already tried the Cobb, SCT, and Livernois ots tunes on my new mustang. I currently own a 2021 Mustang base model. I accepted an offer from Carmax to purchase the car for more than I originally paid for it.

The only benefit of the Cobb is the ability to do a remote pro tune but if your strictly comparing ots tunes, Livernois has the upper hand. I found the ots tune from Livernois to be far more refined than the Cobb ots tunes. During that time I had a Cobb tuner and Livernois tuner and did multiple comparisons.
